For over ten years, JoAnn Stevens has served in upper level management at Aveda Institute Denver, a NACCAS accredited cosmetology school, located in Denver, Colorado. In her current position as Campus Director, Mrs. Stevens regulates educational standards so that her students acquire technical skills and knowledge which prepare them for graduation, licensure, and job placement. To keep relevant with industry trends and new regulations, Mrs. Stevens receives ongoing development from the school’s accrediting agencies and Aveda Corporation annually.
Currently, JoAnn Stevens is a member of the Division of Private Occupation School Board. She was appointed July 3, 2019 – July 1, 2023. She wishes to aid standards that foster and improve the quality of education and educational services for occupational schools in the State of Colorado. Mrs. Stevens believes education changes lives and she is a profound believer in occupational schools.
